Snow Day

FINALLY....a decent snow in raleigh! i feel like its been years since weve had enough snow to really enjoy:) i couldnt wait to get brody out in it and play! he had a blast!! wrestling with riley, sledding, etc....he loved every minute of it! when he looked out the window for the first time that morning, his little face looked like he was saying "what did you do to my yard!". we played in it for quite a while in the morning and then my mom and dad came over in the afternoon...because heaven forbid they miss any of brody's "firsts"!!:) dad brought a sled over and we sledded down the hill i cant even count how many times. when we would get to the bottom, brody would say "more" and do his sign language for "please" (and that is VERY hard to say no to). it was great getting to have brian off for a few days...brody missed not having him home once he had to go back to work. it was a wonderful couple of days!

Little Man

Parker and Lindsey got married a couple weekends ago. Since Brian was actually doing the wedding and I was in it, we chose to leave Brody with Brian's mom. It was so nice to be able to have fun for the weekend, staying out late, going to hockey games, and then the wedding and reception... It's not like we can't have fun with Brody, but he is just so busy these days. We wouldn't have been able to sit down for five minutes. He's into everything! Brian's mom and dad kept him at their house in Richmond and then Meme brought Brody down the day of the wedding so he could get some pictures. Since wedding stuff consumed our entire week, I didn't have time to go out and get Brody an outfit for the wedding. Brian's mom was so nice to go find the perfect outfit for Brody. I couldn't believe my eyes when she brought him into the church and I saw him in his little suit jacket! He's a little boy now! I think babyland is gone... Here's a few pictures.

Uh-oh

so most of brody's words consist of the same syllable twice (mama, dada, rye-rye, etc). when he says Uh-oh, it comes out more like Uh-Uh.....but this week he figured out how to put 2 different syllables together. So now its "uh-oh"...but he raises his voice in the cutest way putting emphasis on the 'oh'...you just have to hear it!
