I cherish the time I get each morning with this early riser! He is such a joy and a light and I love getting one on one time with him in the mornings:)

Another trip to the zoo
Lindsay brought her two girls in town to go to the zoo, so my mom and I tagged along! The cousins had so much fun together!
Funny story:
At the zoo, I mentioned to the kids that we may stop and get a milkshake on the way home. Levi has a major sweet youth and was super excited! Of course it took him all of 2 minutes to fall asleep on the way home from the zoo. So we kept driving. We were back in Raleigh, when he sat straight up from a dead sleep and said (in an extremely serious tone) "We are NOT going home without a milkshake!!"

Baseball season
Saturday was opening day for Rolesville baseball! The town always does a parade with all of the teams in the back of trucks or on trailers and floats. It's definitely a highlight for the kids and a fun way to kick of the season's open games!
Brody did great in his first game! He has two of his best buddies on his team this year and the dads are coaching which is a blast! This year the kids get 3 pitches from the coach and then can hit off of the tee if they don't get a hit. Brody got a hit from the pitch both times he was at bat! Way to go buddy!!
