well i was waiting to write so i didnt jinx myself. but apparently it didnt help! Brody slept 5-6 hours at night for a week straight! i was so excited..i thought this was the end of my sleepless nights! but the past 3 nights hes back to his old routine of sleeping 2-3 hours at a time...uggg. i was reading in my "baby wise" book that at 6 weeks babies go through another growth spurt and may need to be fed more often. Brody starting waking up more at night at exactly 6 weeks old....so im hoping after this little growth spurt is over, he will back to sleeping good again! oh well, it was good while it lasted! its so amazing that 5-6 hours is considered sleeping good to me!

I can relate to your sleep deprivation! I remember when Anna was 12 months old and would sleep 6 hours straight that we were doing good...ahhh! :-) But, hang in there, it does get better. Anna is now up to around 10 hours a night (unless she's sick or cutting a tooth), and she's almost 2 years old! Hopefully, Brody won't take that long to get a good sleep habit going. We're praying this next little baby is an awesome sleeper so I won't have two more years of no sleep. :-)
