Farm Boys

I love my little farm boys. With all of the rain and snow we have had recently, the little creek beside our house has been running. They have taken advantage of the warmer days and the creek!

The Grove Park Inn

Brian and I were blessed to be able to attend the Weekend to Remember at The Grove Park in over Valentine's Day weekend! It was a much needed time away for us and the conference was amazing. The Gove Park Inn did not dissapoint either. It was INCREDIBLE! It had just snowed before we were there and it snowed a little more over the weekend. It looked like it was straight out of a fairytale! We enjoyed a date night out at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse while we were there and enjoyed lots of coffee and the gorgeous views while we relaxed in the Inn. Brian gave me one of my favorite gifts to date while we were there....a gorgeous ring to remember our weekend away together. 

We are going to Disney!!

Tonight we told the kids that we are taking them to Disney in one week!! They were so excited!! I showed them a video about Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios and then broke the news to them! We also convinced my parents to come too! We are all so excited! Disney here we come!!!!

Homeschool Fun!

 We have been so blessed to be part of a homeschool group this year made up of families from our past church and current church. We are so thankful for these new friendships! We have had a lot of fun together!

Our Christmas Party was at an indoor soccer center where we let the kids get all of their cooped-up winter energy out! And of course lots of party food!

We took a field trip to Krispy Kreme to watch them make donuts and of course eat some!

Our valentines party consisted of making valentines for a local nursing home, lots of food, and a dance party!

Snow Days!

As soon as it turned winter, a certain 3 year old started asking me when it was going to snow. I tried to explain to him that just because its cold outside doesn't mean it will snow (like every children's tv show depicts). There are many years we don't see a single snowflake here. But he continued to ask.....and this year I was wrong. We are on our 3rd round of snow in the past month. The kids have LOVED it! And to be honest, I love the snow too:) Aven got to see snow for the first time and was completely in awe!

Sunday Naps

Levi and I started a little Sunday ritual. Sunday Naps together in my bed. He knows now that every Sunday after church he gets to take a nap in my bed. It is such a sweet time with my little snuggler!
